• Uniform (top gear)
• Packed lunch and drink
• Suitable boating gear
• Change of dry clothes including towel

Details: At 09:30 we will stand around our beach flag pole to renew our Scout promise and thank our volunteers. We will also present any awards which have been deserved.

After our promise renewal we will prepare for boating, Scouts and Explorers will peg in afloat and all other persons will sign in with the beach master so their name and swim ability can be recorded on the whiteboard. Those who can not swim 50m will be give a red wrist band, those who can will be given green. The reason for this is water safety, when on the water the adults can clearly see who may need extra support in the water. 

High tide is 11:15 so please be patient with the team while boats are prepared, weather checks are done and a boating team briefing is given
