Group Shop
Hythe Sea Scouts have a Group shop where items for our members can be purchased.
Some items required for Scouting are only available from the official Scouting shop or local stores.
Royal Navy hat
Hythe Sea Scouts are honoured to be Royal Navy recognised, therefore our Sea Scouts and Explorers wear this hat during uniformed meetings and public events. Available from the Group subject to stock, please speak to your Sea Scout or Explorer Section Leader.
'Sea Scouts' Tally
Sold separately to the Royal Navy hat, the tally band is presented to a Scout or Explorer during their investiture into the Group. The tally signifies that the young person is part of the Sea Scout Family. Available from the Group subject to stock, please speak to your Scout or Explorer Section Leader when your young person is ready for investiture.
Group Neckerchief
Our Group Neckerchief is worn by all members of Hythe Sea Scouts from Beavers, through to Explorers. It signifies that the young person is part of our proud Group and is presented to them during their investiture by their Section Leader. Available from the Group subject to stock, please speak to your Section Leader.
Group activity t-shirts
Group t-shirts are now available across all sections of the group in four colours. These are worn by members of Hythe Sea Scouts during activities, camps, events or when temperatures are too high for wearing jumpers indoors, it’s not essential uniform.
Available to try on at the hut, speak to your section leader. We have four sizes to try, 1-2 years, 3-4 years, 7-8 years & 12-14 year olds.

Beaver jumper
This jumper is worn by those in the Beaver section. When badges are awarded they are sewn onto this jumper in specific locations. This item is not sold by the Group but can be found online from the official Scouts store (www.shop.scouts.org.uk/uniforms) or at a local shop. Second hand items may also be available from our Scout-Bay page on Facebook.
Cub jumper
This jumper is worn by those in the Cub section. When badges are awarded they are sewn onto this jumper in specific locations. All items sold by 4th New Forest Solent Hythe Sea Scouts are welcomed using card payments only. We use SumUp for secure card or contactless payments.
