Details: Cancer Testing South will be at our hut on Saturday 28th June to test those males who would like to check if they have Prostate Cancer. Its recomended that males over 40 years old take this test.
Unfortunitly one of our members recently got diagnosed and he is keen to help others in catching this diagnoses early. As individuals and as a Group we follow our Scouting promise to help other people.
This test is quick and requires a sample of blood to be taken, the CTS charity will send you results directly
It’s the most common cancer in men, and 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime.
To register please click the button to book your appointment. Register with the charity, select a time that works for you and pay online. This will speed up the process on the day and you can sit back with some refreshments and listen to some live music.
By registering online your results will be sent directly to you once completed.
Its estimated the blood test will take 8 minutes.
There will be a section of refresments availble to purchase while you wait for your test, these will be sold by our Scouting team.
